In and Out of Sync, 2025.

Headspace drifts through a zone where objects hover between formation and fixation. Rendered in a subdued, universal grey, the works borrow from the spatial logic of modeling software and speculative environments, gesturing toward architectures not yet fully settled. Desires will be looked at in the gaps between surface and suggestion, scaffold and skin, objects and objectification.

In an age where erotic experience is increasingly abstracted – filtered through simulation, language, and symbolic systems – Headspace reflects on how fetishism operates not just in the realm of fantasy, but as a mechanism of cultural organisation, where power, projection, and desire are embedded into form. The work also gestures toward the transformative potential of eroticism – its ability to vibrate the surface of the real, to destabilize fixed meaning, and to open portals into altered symbolic and affective states.

(light) I was in the chair position tied and wired to an excessive black hook at the centre top of my bed. A spot lights the room as if the backstage of a porn, I gaze into it. With my feet high up in the air I can feel the blood withdraws from my extremities - feeling cold, pain, then numbness. I beg for a STOP. “You fucking hold it otherwise I’m not gonna do this for you again.” She said, This life is not an erotic fiction. No safe words, no limitation, no weekends, 24/7, no holidays, no vacations; no cages, no whips, no kisses. Punishment for real. To live, to anticipate, to endure., 2025.

Gazed by two guys in suits. “Hold this position for a bit longer for me. ” ; “let’s do it again.” Outside of the fantasy it is the harsh reality of an ordinary artist lifestyle - dating back to 2023. Through the flickering shutter of light and dark of a 3D scanner, I see my body removed from its accountability. In these seem- ingly muti-paralleling worlds, I can be switched on., 2025.
